Born and raised in North Dakota. Studied Arabic and started her career at an investment banking firm in Cairo, Egypt. Over a decade of experience in the finance industry, with six years spent at three fintech startups in the alternative investments space. Happily based in Portland, OR, with access to backpacking and skiing in the Cascades.

Born and raised in Cairo, Egypt. Is a very good boy. Knows how to sit, shake, stand up, lay down, and on a good day, roll over. Skilled at nest making. Must be comfy, cozy, and warm at all times, and looks devastatingly handsome in a sweater. Currently based in Portland, OR, where he has formed an uneasy peace with the resident squirrels.

Sweater Ventures
As Director of Member Experience, Sarah hired and trained Sweater’s first Member Experience team who raised $10M+ within 6 months in an industry-first venture capital interval fund open to non-accredited investors. She also implemented Hubspot as Sweater's CRM and multiple software integrations to comprise their customer service and sales tech stack, including 70+ workflows to automate marketing and sales operations, customer support, data management, and other manual tasks.
Modiv
As Head of Investor Relations, Sarah designed and implemented Modiv's end-to-end investor experience, from initial nurture email drip campaign to onboarding to routine ongoing management and expansion campaigns. She implemented Hubspot as Modiv's CRM and marketing/sales automation platform and several other integrated software solutions. She also hosted quarterly earnings calls and bi-weekly new investor introduction webinars
CrowdStreet
As the Head of Investor Relations, Sarah led on strategy and managed the Investor Relations team that fundraised $730MM+ for 160+ private equity CRE offerings over a 16-month period. Her team onboarded 110,000+ new investors over a 3-year period, of which 6,500+ completed 25,000+ investments. Some key accomplishments include designing experiments that led to a 21% increase in webinar registration, a 32% increase in average email open rates, and a 50% increase in average email click rates. She also developed and documented many of CrowdStreet's standard operating procedures to aid in new employee onboarding and ongoing reference for the team.
